Credits and independence

This is an unofficial, independent fan guide. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bethesda Softworks, ZeniMax Media or their affiliates. The Elder Scrolls and Daggerfall names and associated marks belong to their respective owners.

The handbook explains the DFO Online project, maintained by Mac (Lattymoy) and its contributors. Mechanics and data are checked against the source revision shown in page footers. Handbook prose is written for this guide; artwork and diagrams were created for the handbook, including AI-assisted original artwork. Draft badges describe pages still awaiting an editorial read-through.

Map and planner

The Bay and town maps use Daggerfall location/building records. The road, track, river and stream layer uses Basic Roads data by Hazelnut and contributors. The character planner presents class mechanics and short background answer labels/effects; original biography questions and story text are omitted. Credit does not grant visitors a licence to redistribute these datasets. No blanket MIT licence is claimed for game or map data.
